Romans 8:11

If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will give life to your mortal bodies also through his Spirit that dwells in you.

Breathing Life

It only takes only a moment to resuscitate the heart. A word, a glance, a second of seeing the Love Who Is streams heaven’s breath into human hearts.

The Spirit is breath, the breath of Love, the breath of Life, the breath of hope that what the heart most needs is not a dream but real and here and now.

When Love breathes the heart lifts, weightless and able to fly again, filled with gratitude for the Life of God that raises mortal flesh to life, not just then but in every moment of knowing.

Love’s single work is raising the dead, breathing the Life Who Is into the lives we are.

And all this that we may breathe Love and Life into each other … in a word, a glance, in moments of truly blessing each other for no other reason than the sheer joy of it.

We are vessels of Love’s Immortal breath. There is no higher dignity, no greater call.

Pr. David L. Miller
